Katharina Stroh is an Emmy Award-nominated Editor with experience in documentaries, branded content, and television. All of her films have screened at major film festivals, including Snowy (Sundance ‘21), Well Groomed, (SXSW ‘19, Hot Docs ‘19, HBO Sports) and For Flint (Tribeca ‘17). Katharina is a Fulbright Scholar from Germany and currently resides in New York City.

Alexander Heringer is an award-winning director & editor. His first short films Fortune Faded (AFI Fest ‘12) and Circle (‘15) screened at over 150 international film festivals, and were featured on various renowned platforms such as CGSociety and Vimeo Staff Picks. Notable festival appearances of his work include Snowy (Sundance ‘21), and Well Groomed (SXSW ‘19, Hot Docs ‘19, HBO Sports). His commercial portfolio includes international brands such as Campari, SL Green and Nasdaq. Born in Germany, Alex splits his time between New York City and Munich.

CREATIVE COLLABORATORS

  • Alex Wolf Lewis s a director and DP based in NYC and Portland, Maine. He has travelled the world for work, shooting for Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, Disney+, Netflix, Vice, PBS, A&E, Discovery as well as a number of feature documentaries and shorts. DP Credits include: Well Groomed (HBO Sports, SXSW ‘19, Hot Docs ‘19), 2nd Unit DP on the narrative feature Critical Thinking, dir. John Leguizamo, (SXSW ‘20). As a director, credits include, Single Room Occupancy (co-directed) (SIFF ‘16, Big Sky ‘17, Short of The Week). Hildegarde’s Piano (Rooftop Film Festival ‘19), and Snowy (Sundance ‘21). When not making films, Alex volunteers as an EMT for the town of Falmouth, Maine.

  • Kaitlyn Schwalje is a science journalist and documentary director based in Portland, Maine. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University before completing her postgraduate studies at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design. Before pivoting to storytelling, Kaitlyn designed haptic prototypes for the research division of the Walt Disney Company. Her stories about her disaster obsessed father, tsunamis, how archaeology saved the cat, and city squirrels appear in CBC, Atlas Obscura, WNYC, 99% Invisible, National Geographic, and others. Director Credits include, This Land (Maine Unit) a feature film documenting the 2020 election, and Snowy (Sundance ‘21).

  • Rebecca Stern is a documentary producer and director living in Brooklyn, NY. She recently directed, produced and wrote the documentary Well Groomed (SXSW ’19, Hot Docs ‘19, HBO). Additional producing credits include Snowy (Sundance ‘21), Tre Maison Dasan (Independent Lens ’19), Netizens (Tribeca ‘18, HBO Max), and the bomb (Tribeca ‘16, Netflix). She has directed and produced short films appearing on The Atlantic and in The New Yorker, and works extensively in producing and directing commercials for large, international brands. Rebecca is a 2019 Impact Partners Fellow, a PGA- accredited producer and a Documentary Producers Alliance Regional Representative.

  • Cynthia Lowen is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker award-winning writer. She's the director/producer of BATTLEGROUND, the director/producer of NETIZENS and the co-producer/writer of BULLY. Cynthia is the author of The Cloud That Contained the Lightning, winner of the National Poetry Series.

  • The Neymarc brothers are award-winning commercial directors passionate about vfx-enhanced storytelling.

    Born in the US and raised in Paris, France, their first TV ad was broadcasted at the 2012 Super Bowl (ft. John Stamos) and they are credited as the youngest Super Bowl commercial directors in the history of advertising.

    Their latest short film, ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’, won two Webby Awards in 2019, a Vimeo Staff Pick and a selection at Cannes Lions, which has led them to sign with Hollywood talent agency William Morris Endeavor (WME) as Writer-Directors.

    Their first feature film screenplay ‘TIMELESS’ was just acquired by Paris production company Marvelous and is currently under development. They are also directing a sci-fi TV series pilot ‘MEMO’, which is launching in production in Oct 2021.
